Jay is an autistic First Nations woman with connections to West Arnhem Land. 

Jay works in the not-for-profit sector of child protection with IFYS as a First Nations health advisor and is passionate about culturally responsive and neuroaffirming care. 

Jay is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Queensland, with research focused on improving out of home care for First Nations autistic children. 

Jay also works with Positive Partnerships in supporting autism education across Australia. Jay has three beautiful neurodivergent children, two dogs, one cheeky cat and seven chickens.
