Steven Hooke is a descendant of the Kamilaroi people from the Hunter Valley.

Currently a school Principal in South-West Sydney. I completed a Bachelor of Primary Teaching at Wollongong University and have worked within the Department of Education for over 18 years. I am a strong advocate of social justice and the importance education has for improving the lives of individuals and society as a whole.

Married to my wonderful wife Sara with whom I have two beautiful children with, Anderson and Penelope. Anderson was diagnosed severely Autistic when he was 2 years old.
