Working with communities

Diverse group of parents in discussion

A strong focus for Positive Partnerships is to work as hard as possible to engage with people from diverse backgrounds and in diverse situations in support of school-aged students on the autism spectrum.

Our approaches are as diverse as the people we work with. From evening workshops especially for fathers and male carers, strategies for connecting with remote communities, to developing our own Reconciliation Action Plan and everything in between, the whole team has been involved.

By partnering with identified individuals, communities, schools and organisations, we strive to foster productive community-wide relationships.

We continue to learn more and more about working respectfully and appropriately with people from many diverse backgrounds and are incredibly grateful for all that we have been taught.
