Alyx Bakmand - Administration Coordinator

Alyx is the Administration Coordinator for all things Professional Learning in Positive Partnerships. She supports the team leaders with all workshop administrative requirements, and is also responsible for conference and exhibition arrangements. Originally from the UK, she has a strong administration and events background.

Why Positive Partnerships?

I could see that people working at Positive Partnerships were an extremely passionate group who are very people focused and I wanted to be part of that great team.

What do you hope to achieve in this role? 

When working behind the scenes you are not “on stage”, but I still strive to have everything go as smoothly as possible at the workshops. This is to ensure that my colleagues and participants benefit from an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

What has inspired you in the past?

Following a workshop, participants are invited to complete a testimonial about their experience in the workshop. When I receive these, some people are just so grateful for having received information, techniques and just getting out there and meeting others on the journey; it is very touching.

Ondine Valencia - Events and Finance Officer

Ondine oversees two important areas at Positive Partnerships, Events and Finance. She is responsible for coordinating all the logistics associated with workshops nationally. This includes; event location, booking and catering.

She also assists the national team with finance related queries and supports the ongoing management of the Positive Partnerships budget. 
 

Deb Marks- Website Administrator

Deb started with Positive Partnerships in February 2009 and has held various administration roles over this time.  With a background in the demanding role of personal assistant to chief executives of a high profile media company, Deb enjoys the fast paced environment Positive Partnerships offers. She originally started with Positive Partnerships on a 2 month temporary assignment, but after working with such passionate, caring and talented people and seeing the role Positive Partnerships plays in making a difference to people’s lives, she became a permanent part-time employee.  Her current role is Website Administrator, where she looks after the content management of the website.
